Welcome to Tarlton Inn, St. Mary’s University School of Law Chapter of Phi Delta Phi. We are St. Mary’s only Honors Legal Fraternity. 

Phi Delta Phi is the oldest legal organization in continuous existence in the United States and the premier legal fraternity in North America.  Phi Delta Phi's reputation as an organization devoted to legal excellence has continued to spread throughout North America and Europe.  We at Tarlton Inn are committed to upholding the honor and tradition of Phi Delta Phi.

Tarlton Inn was installed at St. Mary’s University on October 22, 1949.  It has since been St. Mary’s only Legal Honors Fraternity, accepting only students who are in the top twenty percent of their class.  Today, Tarlton Inn is the largest chapter of Phi Delta Phi.  In the Spring of 2008, we added over one hundred new members.
